Aleksandr Vlasov
"My name is Alexander Vlasov. I am a 3rd year International College of Economics and Finance (ICEF HSE) student. Ever since I took a course in Excel in my first year at ICEF, Excel (including VBA) has become an integral part of my life. Not only did I attend multiple seminars and master classes and learned the best ways of teaching Excel to students of different levels, but I also had a chance to put my knowledge into practice by using it on a daily basis during my internships at one of the Big Three consulting firms and in the in-house M&A department of the largest telecommunications company in Russia. Furthermore, I have been teaching Excel for more than a year now to Russian high school students and international students in both offline and online mediums.
I am looking forward to welcoming you to the course!"
Kristina Sosnina
“I come from a small city in Siberia. I like flowers in spring, rain in summer, leaves in autumn, and snow in winter. I like the land and the nature, I like people. I like country’s peace, I like metropolis’ noise. And, I like to laugh. I hold a BSc degree in Economics and Finance from International College of Economics and Finace, Higher School of Economics. University taught me a life lesson. It doesn’t matter what you study but how you study. As a student, I combined theory and a varied job experience in finance related positions. That helped me to get a sense of how money really works. This year, 2020-2021, I am studying for a master’s degree in Management and Strategy at London School of Economics.
I look forward to welcoming you to the class!”
Aleksandr Odnakov
"I have been studying mathematics on the level higher than school provides since 6th grade. I have been taught different techniques for solving unusual math problems and also theory behind all sorts of concepts. I know basics of mathematical analysis for at least 5 years and I am very familiar with this subject. As for my teaching experience, I was teacher's assistant in different mathematical schools for last 2 years. I have been working with high school students, and in the last year with undergraduate students."
Shuana Pirbudagova
"My name is Shuana Pirbudagova. I’ve graduated from International College of Economics and Finance (ICEF HSE) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Finance this year. Currently I’m continuing my deep dive into Economics at Mater of Arts in Economics programme at New Economics School (NES).I enjoy discussing questions that do not have unique right answer and wonder how precisely language of mathematics can be used to model and understand social life, and Game Theory is all about it. For me Game Theory course that I was taught at ICEF at my third year was one of the most mind-changing experience. Since then, I myself was teaching introductory Game Theory courses at IES Evening School and at English Prepartory Programme in Economics.I hope that you’ll also enjoy learning to think differently by interpreting everyday life events from the perspective of strategic interactions. I am looking forward to welcoming you to the class!"
Ksenia Lebedeva
"I am Ksenia Lebedeva, 3rd year BSc ICEF student of Economics and Finance program.I’ve been keen on technologies since the 1st year of my studies when I became familiar with programming in VBA and Python. I realized the power of automation when creating code for auditors at PWC then. At that time my belief in data science and machine learning built up. The more information was learned, the more I wanted to share it with students to show how simple and useful it is. That is why I’ve been teaching Python programming for the recent year. During our lessons lots of additional information is provided, so that students could dive in Python as deeply as they would like to. The only requirement is willingness to explore and keep active.
Waiting for your active participation!"

"I am Andrew Vorchik. This year, I will be teaching the course of Economics at the English Preparatory Programme in Economics. I taught Economics for several years and would be glad to introduce you to this intriguing and highly applicable subject. Two our main goals in this course would be to understand the world around us and to develop a skill of model and economic thinking.Currently, I am doing my fourth year study and research at the International College of Economics and Finance (HSE). Besides Economics, I am quite interested in Psychology and research at the edge of these two sciences, including Behavioral Economics. I also have a huge and successful experience of participation in economic and math olympiads as well as in business case competitions.
